Marc Graue Recording Studios monitors and remains current with all relevant published COVID-19 safety guidelines. We have also made many procedural and physical modifications of our own to ensure the safety of talent, clients and engineers moving forward:
- We are currently monitoring and adhering to all California state and Los Angeles County guidelines an we are a SAG/AFTRA approved recording studio.
- Only clients and talent with appointments are admitted into the studio. The door will be unlocked upon arrival and guests will be instructed where to go. The general public may not enter the building.
- Hand sanitizer located immediately upon entry to the building and throughout our facilities.
- We have installed plexiglass at the our reception desk to protect clients and staff.
- Facemasks must be worn by everyone who enters the building. New masks are available at reception if needed.
- Sessions are limited to 1 talent per recording booth unless PCR testing is provided by production in adherence to SAG/AFTRA guidelines.
- Each employee has been assigned a personal workstation which is isolated from the rest of the building.
- All employees are checked for symptoms, including temperature, at the start of each day and if they exhibit any are sent home immediately.
- Employees are instructed to regularly wash their hands with soap and water for no less than twenty seconds.
- Hands free equipment is used in all restrooms (Paper Towels, Water Faucet, Soap Dispenser and Flush).
- Studio is professionally cleaned and disinfected bi-weekly. Pre-session fog treatment of booth is available upon request.
- Our cleaning and maintenance teams are using bleach, disinfectants and appropriate cleansers on all work surfaces to ensure safe working environments.
- Foot handles have been installed on all studio doors. No need to open with hands.
- All of our employees must maintain 6 ft distance from colleagues and clients. It is possible for talent to, at no point, be in the same room as any other person.
- All shared hard surfaces are wiped and disinfected between sessions. That would include things like countertops, chair handles, door handles, light switches, telephones, etc.
- Clients are asked to supervise sessions remotely, when possible.
- Pop filters and headphones will be swapped out after each session. They are cleaned and sanitized before next use.
- Copy stands and other hard surfaces are disinfected before and after each talent.
- HVAC system uses filters with a minimum MERV 13 rating.
- Hepa air purifier filters all air in recording booth after each talent for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- It is recommended that talent bring their own headphones with a quarter inch plug to use in studio.
- It is recommended that clients and talent bring their own water to the session although water is available upon request.
- Studio headphones changed after each talent then disinfected and sanitized before being used again.
- Microphone stands will be adjusted remotely from the control room allowing for talent to have a true zero contact experience.
- Contracts can be delivered electronically and scripts may be displayed electronically.
- If paper scripts are necessary they will be printed on a dedicated printer located inside each booth for the talent.
- Cast or group recording sessions (Up to 4) can be accomplished by linking each of our isolated booths together if needed.
